How much does a remodel cost?
It depends on the size of the space, the condition of what is behind the existing finishes, and the materials you choose. Rather than quote ranges that may not apply to your home, we visit, look at the actual project and give you a written estimate at no charge. Is the estimate really free?
Yes — the visit and the written estimate are free, with no obligation.
Do you require a deposit?
Payment terms are laid out clearly in your written agreement before work begins, so there are never surprises. Massachusetts law limits the deposit a home improvement contractor may collect, and we follow it.
Scheduling and Process
How soon can you start?
It varies with the season and our current schedule. When we provide your estimate we will give you an honest start window — and we keep you informed if anything changes.
How long will my project take?
A typical bathroom remodel runs a few weeks; kitchens and basements run longer depending on scope. Material lead times (especially cabinets and special-order tile) are often the biggest factor. Your estimate includes a realistic timeline for your specific project.
Will someone be at my house every day?
We schedule work in continuous blocks whenever possible. If a day off-site is needed — for example, while waiting for an inspection or a material delivery — we tell you in advance.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. When a project requires a building permit, the permit is obtained before work begins and inspections are scheduled at the right stages of the job.

Do you do plumbing, electrical or HVAC work?
No. We are a remodeling and carpentry contractor. When your project requires specialized plumbing or electrical work, we coordinate with properly licensed trade professionals as part of the project plan.
